WIRC-CAA Victim Services
The WIRC-CAA Victim Services Domestic Abuse Prevention Program (DAPP) for men is a 26 week education group for domestic violence perpetrators. It is designed to assist in recognizing abusive behaviors and becoming accountable for these actions. The participants learn ways to behave non-violently toward partners, family, household members or significant others. The DAPP program fully explores patterns of abusiveness and controlling behaviors, examines the underlying beliefs and intentions which contribute to violence, and addresses the impact on victims, children, themselves and society. |
